About Mabus

Mabus is a fan-made visual listening room created around the scale, texture, mystery, and unease of Inferno by Boards of Canada. Space, light, weather, coastlines, human movement, and microscopic life drift across the screen while the album plays through Apple Music.

Clips and themed collections move in an unpredictable flow, creating new echoes every time you listen. The visuals remain silent and leave the recording untouched. What changes is the room around it.

Features

Browse the complete Inferno track list, choose any song, and control Apple Music playback without leaving the experience.

Themed visual collections and silent overlays shuffle without immediate repeats. Dismiss the controls for an unobstructed full-screen view, pause the visuals independently, or use Mabus as a silent standalone visualizer without an Apple Music subscription.

With Apple Music, the visual listening room also supports Tomorrow’s Harvest, The Campfire Headphase, Geogaddi, and Music Has the Right to Children.

Powered by Apple Music

Mabus uses Apple Music for album playback, artwork, track information, and music controls. An active Apple Music subscription, Media & Apple Music authorization, an internet connection, and regional catalog availability are required for these features.

There is no separate Mabus account. Mabus does not read your music library, playlists, favorites, or listening history. It never downloads, records, exports, or shares Apple Music audio.

Accessibility

Mabus supports Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, Increased Contrast, Reduce Transparency, Reduce Motion, and Dim Flashing Lights. Visuals can be paused independently at any time.
